The Minor Midget team paid tribute to
D.I.F.D on Feb 7 in Rockland at CIH Academy Arena.
The players wore purple skate laces and purple tape on their stick to acknowledge Mental Health awareness.
The team also donated 100$ to the cause.
The donation will allow the clinicians and researchers at The Royal Ottawa to continue to develop new methodologies for treating mental illness in young people - developing suicide education programs, enhancing clinical care, family support and outreach programs and helping break down the stigma surrounding mental illness.
The Wild organization congratulates the team for their contribution and community involvement.
