The Eastern Ontario Wild U12 AAA team does it again!
After winning the Bell Capital Cup earlier this month, the Eastern Ontario Wild U12 team travelled to Oakville where they played some of the top teams in the province at the Oakville Rangers Winter Classic.
The Wild went undefeated throughout the tournament with a 5-0-1 record to take home the U12AAA Championship. It was a hard fought weekend.
First the Wild beat the hometown Oakville Rangers 2-1 in overtime of their semi-finals. They then went on to face the Toronto Young Nationals where they also won 2-1 in overtime.
The Wild had to beat 3 teams ranked in the top 10 of the province in order to claim victory.
