Wild Constitution Updated

2010-12-02

Updated document approved at special meeting November 20, 2010

Revisions to the Constitution of the Eastern Ontario Wild were approved at a special meeting held in Alexandria on Wild Day, November 20, 2010.

The changes strengthen rules on potential conflicts of interest by Board members, add additional members to the Board, and formalize an annual independent review of the Association’s financial affairs.  In addition, there are many revisions of an administrative nature that reflect the approval last year of the OEMHL AAA league as a permanent fixture in the ODMHA.

Until this year, all of the AAA organizations in the Ottawa area operated under rules established by the ODMHA Steering Committee that oversaw the three-year AAA pilot project. With the permanent approval of the AAA league last February, the Wild can now modify its structure and rules to suit the local requirements of the organization, which draws its players from the area between Orleans, Cornwall and Hawkesbury.

The revised document is available under the "Association Info" tab on the left hand navigation menu bar.
