HP 1 Coach Certification is a requirement for all head coaches at the AAA level for the 2015/16 Season. HEO run course this summer 20-22 June & 4-6 July 2014
This Clinic is open to HEO Members that Require H.P. 1 Certification to Coach at the AAA or Junior A level. It will be opened up to others as of June 6, if not full.
The Clinic will take place over two separate weekends (Attendance in full is mandatory, no exceptions will be granted). The times for both weekends are as follows: Friday 6:00pm – 11:00pm, Saturday 8:00am – 5:00pm, and Sunday 8:00am – 5:00pm.
In order to complete the H.P. 1 certification requirements the individual must attend the course in full, complete and pass a take home exam which includes an Emergency Action Plan and a Yearly Plan, complete the “Making Ethical Decisions” on-line course (at www.coach.ca), and successfully pass a practical “Field Evaluation” performed by an HEO Certified Field Evaluator.
Cost is $600.00 + HST includes Lunch
