Bio:
Zach is a Carleton University student pursuing a Bachelor of Commerce degree majoring in Accounting. Because of his educational commitments he is no longer able to contnue playing the game but has decided to take the skill, knowlege and passion he has developed as a player and apply them to coaching. Zach is very excited about this new venture in hockey and this opportunity with the Wild Major Peewee team.
Zach's primary focus as an assitant coach will be with the goaltenders. For the past three years Zach has been working with local goalie instructors Andrew Mercer and Stefan Nichols. Over that time he has been developing a keen knowlege base in the technical skills of the position and methods for teaching and developing those skills. Zach will be working on ice with Tom Dempsey at our team goalie training sessions and bringing the instruction from those sessions into our practices.
